Shall I stay in a relationship even though I don’t feel fire cracks inside?

Image
Shall I stay in a relationship even though I don’t feel fire cracks inside?  There are two possible points of view on whether to stay or walk away from a partner. Let’s begin with the first vision, which concerns having a partner with good traits. Here comes the question: Where will you find a woman or man with such qualities, or would you ever again bump into a woman or man like the one with whom you are in a relationship?  And this can get ugly if this man or woman has a nice financial position, and is a provider for you. So many people will ask you if you are going to overthrow the board all that you have. And the essential question is whether you are willing to do this, and for whom or for what you are going to do it. You won’t hit the jackpot twice in life!  However, there is going to be a person who suggests that you stay there for your own good, but contemplating other options in the shadows; rather, have a double life. So you get the best of two people. And if you...

What matters more in a partner: passion or values?

Image
What matters more in a lasting relationship: passion or values? In our youth, physical attraction often takes center stage, leading to crushes and flings. But does this hold true for mature adults seeking a long-term commitment? Values undoubtedly become more important as we seek stability. Shared principles provide a strong foundation for a relationship. However, without a spark of passion, the connection can feel more like a friendship than a romance. There's a school of thought that argues passion fades eventually, and love can blossom from shared values alone. Some even suggest that those who prioritize values over passion might be trying to justify a lack of excitement in their own relationships. Finding the right balance While initial attraction is undeniable, it's important not to discount the importance of shared values. Just like a delicious meal needs more than visual appeal, a fulfilling relationship requires both passion and compatibility. A purely physical connec...

Love Is Forgiveness

Perhaps one could find hard to forgive another after a bitter and suffering experience between them or a painful break-up. However, there is no an existing thing or happened event that can’t be forgiven. Those who don’t forgive are exposed to live inside their own hell.   It’s ironic, at least, not hilarious, that in many cases what should be forgiven is a silly thing. So don’t bog yourself down on account of your stubbornness about your belief that events or things have to be as you think.

SEX: An Interchange Of Energies

Image
Sex is defined as "organisms of many species specialized into male and female varieties, each known as a sex." Sexual reproduction is defined as "it that involves the combining and mixing of genetic traits: specialized cells known as gametes combine to form offspring that inherit traits from each parent." However, if we refer to sexual practice, this is defined as "the manner in which humans experience and express their sexuality." With these definitions, any human comes to life having in mind that sex is wicked. On the other hand, any human is also born through sexual reproduction. Nowadays, many specialists in the science field have highlighted the benefits of sex for your health. These stem from keeping your immune system humming to making prostate cancer less likely. In romantic terms, you might read in any magazine or on the Internet that, "Great sex is key to your love life." Seriously, how many of you have thought of sexual practic...

Your Capacity Of Loving

Image
In life, you can lose as well as gain a lot of things. In fact, we weep, the majority of times, over the loss of material things without taking into considerations those things that we let out of our hands, and which are related to our inner world. Not many people have in mind their capacity of loving. As our days turn hard in a convulsing world we just get used to watch love in a Hollywood movie, though. Our capacity of loving goes further than the act of falling in love. Perhaps, some people don’t know about what I am talking because they come from either a dysfunctional family where love was inexistent or a family where love didn’t matter, so it’s as to ask a child about something that he doesn’t know. However, you could be aware of what is the capacity of loving, but you have lost it as consequence of a broken heart, many failed relationships, a bitter divorce or bad experiences in life. The capacity of loving is the element that grants you the ability of appreciate...

What Is Love About?

Image
When you think about love comes perhaps to your mind either a picture of stunning model who you encounter in your life to love you or a prince charming that appears suddenly out of the forest to rescue you, isn’t it? But, have you had a thought of that love isn't about it? In fact, I propose you to get a minute to wonder about what love is. Frankly, I don't have the idea of that love is what is screened in a cinema even though this entertained us. Perhaps, love is what John Denver's song describes either a way of living or a way to feel, or, also, what I heard once that love is, commitment and sacrifice. Rather, it isn't just about  passion. What I am sure is that love isn't about to lose your individuality nor put up with your lover's expectations. Love should be an expression of what you are or projection of what you want to be mirrored on your partner. Also, love is acceptance. You shouldn’t run the other down, you just accept his or her ways if these...

The Aftermath Of Your Break-Up, Funny?

Image
Valentine's day is over. Perhaps, it's now time to talk about the other part of love Break-Up -specifically the aftermath. For some people this could be a depressing time or a hilarious part of the whole experience. To me talking about relationships, and not to mention tips to keep one or how to heal a broken heart, there is always a funny part, not to tag it as ironic, in the aftermath of a break-up. And, it is not about the things that you throw away but those mementoes that you keep after a relationship ends. If it doesn’t still bring up tears wearing on the T-shirt that your partner gave you on a special occasion -unless you haven't already thrown it away, a big laughter breaks out since you read again what she wrote about her love for you in a poem or in those hopeless lines on napkin. Beyond any doubt, her declaration is now an irony or a hilarious one for sure–if you moved on. The sarcasm depicted in your ex's words lies on coming into account tha...

Decency: A matter of relativity

A woman in love with her husband breaks down when she finds out that he has an affair with another woman –whom he loves. The broken-hearted wife bursts out yelling out outrageous adjectives at the mistress, who is the blame for the split of her marriage. The wife wonders how a woman could do this to a decent person. For her, this woman was one of no morals and unprincipled, not to label this woman as a bitch.            The wife parts company with her husband, and each one moves on. After a time, the woman, who was once married, falls in love again, but this new man isn't single. Her best friend, who knows all her story, asks her in astonishment, "I don't understand you... how could you be involved with a married man after having suffered what his poor wife does?" "That's the way as life is," she answered simply. So Decency is relative.
