The Aftermath Of Your Break-Up, Funny?

Valentine's day is over. Perhaps, it's now time to talk about the other part of love Break-Up -specifically the aftermath.

For some people this could be a depressing time or a hilarious part of the whole experience. To me talking about relationships, and not to mention tips to keep one or how to heal a broken heart, there is always a funny part, not to tag it as ironic, in the aftermath of a break-up. And, it is not about the things that you throw away but those mementoes that you keep after a relationship ends.

If it doesn’t still bring up tears wearing on the T-shirt that your partner gave you on a special occasion -unless you haven't already thrown it away, a big laughter breaks out since you read again what she wrote about her love for you in a poem or in those hopeless lines on napkin. Beyond any doubt, her declaration is now an irony or a hilarious one for sure–if you moved on. The sarcasm depicted in your ex's words lies on coming into account that in the end everything wasn’t like your partner said that it’d be.

However the funny doesn’t come to an end here. If you have kept those now silly or absurd words in a forgotten box and your new partner finds them, then you're in trouble. In this upside down world, she will assume that your ex still matters to you. And, in the case that you express that you don’t remember her, your new partner will assure that you still in love for your ex. The harder you try to explain why have kept your ex-partner’s lines, the more she will believe that you have feeling for your ex yet.

So to have a healthy and stable new relationship, a piece of advice is that you get rid of those mementoes of a past ghost. Otherwise, you’ll be sailing in a sea of trouble, instead of one of love.
